Bennett Branch fire
At around 1:30PM today, a cloud of smoke and the smell of an electrical fire engulfed Mt Airy. A home on Bennett Branch Rd in Mt Airy burned to the ground quickly due to fire. I think the address was 7991 Bennett Branch Rd off of Rt 144. I don’t believe anyone was in the house and caught in the fire. No ambulances whisked away that I saw. I am sure the FNP will have something on this sooner or later.

Well, the news team got there really late; there is defiantly more to the story than a paragraph of information. And I believe this image taken at the scene could be better had the photographer been there earlier.
